Our Mission
At The Keowee Haven, we are honored to share our blessing with others; the blessing of being on the lake. We've been so fortunate to enjoy the lake the past few years and look forward to extending that blessing to our future friends. There's nothing like a few days on the lake to make those stresses disappear. It's hard to explain. Maybe a few pics are a good start!

We are located on the lower portion of Lake Keowee, near Seneca. We are on the west side, away from Clemson. It takes us 23 minutes to get to downtown Clemson. The drive from here to Death Valley is easy on game day. More importantly, getting home after the game has never been difficult, just park on this side of campus!
Yes we do. The Carriage House is behind and to the side of our main house. It is completely separate from our house, so no common entrance.
You'll have access to the dock, lake, and firepit (plenty of wood.) You can also use our kayaks and paddleboards if you'd like. Please ask about life vests.
We don't have an available boat slip, but you can temporarily tie up to the dock. We get a lot of wave action, especially on the weekend, so be careful. We can show you how to safely moor your boat and can supply necessary ropes.
The refrigerator has a small freezer. There is also a microwave oven and a Keurig coffee maker with an assortment of coffees. Also the usual stuff, like basic cutlery, trash bags, napkins, dish soap, and paper towels.
We supply linens for the main bedroom downstairs and the queen sofa bed upstairs. Please let us know if you want the king downstairs separated into two twins.
We will supply 4 towels, hand towels, and washcloths.
Soap, shampoo, and toilet paper will be available. There is a a CVS and convenience store 6 miles away. Add a couple of miles to that for a grocery store.
We do not allow smoking, although there has been a cigar or two smoked at the firepit.
We like to have fun, both on the water, and off. But a loud, boisterous good time, we're too old for that stuff. If you are looking to get crazy, this isn't the place for you.
No pets.
A damage deposit and signed rental agreement will be required.
Take a look at the pics. If you have accessibility restrictions, this is likely not a good choice for you. Be prepared for stairs.
We will have two spaces available for you adjacent to The Carriage House. If you need more, you can park a minute's walk away.
Again, we are new at this and still working through the nuts and bolts. Reach out to us and we will allow you in our Private link (top right on this page.) There's pricing info along with terms & conditions on it. For now, you'll have to ask us if a weekend is open, but hopefully I'll figure out how to put a calendar on the page as well. Wish me luck!

They have a portion of a wooden seat back from the original Death Valley...at the top of the spiral staircase! They have a spiral staircase! A really cool place indeed.

Everything was better than expected! The refrigerator was well stocked with refreshments, not to mention a nice bottle of wine and bottle of brown liquor. We felt welcome from the start!

Great place. Loved the fire pit and kayaking around the island. The best phrase is peaceful living. We love this place! We'll be back.
